HaulPath β Live Truck Routing + Profit Tracker (One-Time Purchase)
π§ HaulPath is in private beta β not for public sale yet. I'm letting the first 20 drivers in free to test it. Want in? Message me at support@snatchedschedule.com and I'll send it straight over. HaulPath opens for purchase here in July.
HaulPath is a live truck navigation app built for owner-operators. Pay once. Own it. No subscriptions. No "pro" paywall. No selling your route data. The price is the price.
By purchasing, you agree to the HaulPath Terms & Disclaimer.
π Try the beta free β first 20 drivers
We're opening the HaulPath beta to the first 20 drivers, and beta testers get HaulPath completely free β no charge, no card, nothing to buy. It's not for public sale yet β to join, email support@snatchedschedule.com and I'll send you the app directly. Beta runs until July, then HaulPath opens here for purchase. Your feedback helps shape what we build next. (Questions? Email support@snatchedschedule.com.)
What's inside
- Truck-aware routing β enter your rig (weight, height, length, hazmat) and HaulPath plans around known low bridges, weight limits, and hazmat-restricted roads. Accuracy depends on OpenStreetMap data, which has gaps β always verify.
- Step-by-step navigation β turn cards with highway shields, lane guidance, voice announcements, and a live speedometer that slows realistically for turns
- Integrated profit tracker β log loads and expenses, see cost-per-mile, average MPG, deadhead %, IFTA fuel by state, and net profit at a glance
- Truck-specific stops β parking with spots-open counts, fuel with per-gallon pricing, weigh stations with open/closed status, repair shops with 24/7 flags, and washouts
- Toll-aware routing β see estimated tolls per axle count, or route around them entirely
- 3 route choices β for trips without an added stop, HaulPath shows up to three route options with the drive time for each, tags the fastest, and lets you tap the map or a card to pick the one you want
- Add a stop β drop a waypoint between your start and destination to route through a fuel stop, yard, or delivery on the way
- Prefer state highways β for permit or oversize loads that must stay off interstates, switch on βPrefer state hwysβ to route on state and surface roads (always confirm your permitted route with the state DOT)
- Offline-friendly β automatically saves map tiles along your route corridor so navigation keeps working when you lose signal
Why one-time pricing
Built by a driver. No monthly fee that creeps up every year. No paywalled "pro" features locked behind a subscription. No mysterious app that suddenly stops working when a billing issue happens at 2am on the side of I-80.
What you'll need (BYOK explained)
HaulPath uses a Bring Your Own Key (BYOK) model for the routing engine β you sign up for a free OpenRouteService account (60 seconds, no credit card) and paste your key into the app once. That's the trick that keeps this affordable and makes it a true one-time purchase: no per-user infrastructure cost on our end means no recurring fee needed to keep it alive. You own it.
What you get
- Single self-contained HTML file β save it to your phone or tablet, open in your browser
- Works on Android Chrome and iPhone Safari β no app store install required
- All your data stays on your device. We never see your routes, loads, or expenses.
- Free updates while you own the current major version
π₯ How to get your app (beta access)
Step 1 β Get your file
Once you're in the beta, I'll email your haulpath.html file to you directly from Snatched Schedule. Tap the link to save it to your phone or tablet. The file is small (~120 KB) β downloads in a second even on slow connections.
Step 2 β Open it in your browser
-
Android: Open your Files app β find
haulpath.htmlin Downloads β tap it β choose Open with Chrome. -
iPhone: Open the Files app β tap
haulpath.htmlβ it opens in Safari automatically.
Step 3 β Add to your home screen (recommended)
This lets you launch HaulPath with a single tap, like any other app on your phone:
- Chrome on Android: tap the three-dot menu β Add to Home screen β name it "HaulPath" β Add.
- Safari on iPhone: tap the share button (square with up-arrow) β scroll down β Add to Home Screen β name it "HaulPath" β Add.
Step 4 β Get your free routing key (one-time, 60 seconds)
The first time you tap the settings cog β in HaulPath, you'll be asked for your OpenRouteService API key. Here's how to grab one:
- Go to openrouteservice.org/dev/#/signup
- Sign up with your email β free, no credit card required
- Confirm your email, log in, and head to your Dashboard
- Click Request a token β token type standard β name it "HaulPath"
- Copy the long key it gives you (a string of letters and numbers)
- Paste it into HaulPath when prompted
That's a one-time setup. Your free account gives you 2,000 routes per day β far more than even a high-mileage owner-operator uses.
Step 5 β Set up your rig
Tap the settings cog β enter your axle count, weight, height, length, and hazmat status. HaulPath sends these to the routing engine so it can try to avoid known low bridges, weight-restricted roads, and hazmat-banned routes β based on OpenStreetMap data, so always confirm clearances yourself.
Step 6 β Drive
Type your destination β tap Route for Truck β tap Start Nav. The map automatically saves tiles along your corridor so it keeps working when you lose signal in canyons or remote stretches.
Tabs at the bottom
- Map β your routing screen
- Parking β list of truck-friendly stops sorted along your route
- Fuel β fuel stops with per-gallon pricing
- Scales β weigh stations with live open/closed status
- Repair β repair shops with 24/7 flags
- Profit β your loads, expenses, IFTA, and bottom-line numbers
Disclaimer: This is a trial release. Restrictions and clearance data come from OpenStreetMap, which has gaps for obscure low bridges and seasonal closures. Always verify low clearances, hazmat routes, and weight restrictions with your state DOT before driving. Not a substitute for a certified routing service. Use professional judgment.
π Founders pricing: First 500 buyers lock in lifetime ownership at $39 (regular $79) when HaulPath opens for sale in July.
